We installed a cabin inside Yanbaru National Park, a World Natural Heritage site.
With approval under the Natural Parks Act, it sits on the land without grading. In front of it: only the evening sea and the forest.
Precisely because it is a place where you can’t build, placing a unit creates a new place to stay.
01 CHALLENGE
Challenge
Inside Yanbaru National Park, a World Natural Heritage site. Protecting the landscape and nature makes building new lodging far from simple.
02 SOLUTION
What we did
We finished the cabin in our workshop and brought it to the site. With no land grading or major construction, and with approvals under the Natural Parks Act and Hotel Business Act, it is ready to operate as lodging.
03 RESULT
Result
Within 10 months of starting, it was ready to operate as lodging inside a national park. It is now preparing to open. Once removed, the land returns to its original state.
